How One Trust Gave Autonomy To Each School While Operating As An Enabler For Innovation

Transform Trust, a community of 19 schools in and around Nottinghamshire and Derby, wanted to reduce the use of disparate systems and build a more connected, teacher-led digital approach across its schools. Although several teachers were already using Showbie in a few schools, the Trust needed a way to bring those efforts together and support consistent digital learning, collaboration, and workload reduction across the wider group.

Showbie was rolled out across the Trust and used to assign, collect, review, and share learning in one central, intuitive platform. The implementation was rapid enough to train staff and students within a week during lockdown, and it helped create a mostly paperless environment, reduce printing, photocopying, marking, and planning time, improve access to lessons and feedback, and strengthen pupil independence and parental engagement. Showbie also made it easier to support hybrid learning, share best practice, and prepare for Ofsted inspections by keeping student work readily available in one place.
