How East Hills Girls Technology High School Learned Showbie’s Full Potential and Adopted the App Schoolwide

East Hills Girls Technology High School, a 1:1 BYOD iPad public girls’ technology school in New South Wales, needed a simple way to save, annotate and share student work to make iPads genuinely useful for classroom workflow and communication. A few teachers had discovered Showbie, but use was sporadic and staff weren’t sure how to leverage the app’s full potential across the school.

After training from iTeacher’s Andrew Wright, Showbie was adopted schoolwide and designated a required Core App, giving all teachers and 1,000+ students a single platform for submissions, feedback and collaboration. Showbie streamlined workflow, raised staff collaboration, enabled year‑over‑year tracking of student work for targeted differentiation, improved inclusion for quieter or homebound students, and consistently scored highly in school technology surveys.
