Valvoline, the motor-oil and lubricant manufacturer behind the Team Valvoline DIY initiative, wanted to drive awareness and affinity among automotive DIYers by inspiring them to be active in their garages and giving them a chance to win a “Dream Garage.” To make entry simple and reliable, Valvoline built a sweepstakes contest using ShortStack’s contest platform to capture entries and manage entry rules and timing.
Using ShortStack, Valvoline created a single-entry sweepstakes form requiring name, email and phone (with optional opt-ins for future communications), implemented time-based settings, and amplified reach through a partner auto-parts retailer and influencers across web and social. The campaign collected 38,407 entries, delivered immediate high interest and increased social engagement, and produced a qualified list of opt-ins for ongoing Team Valvoline communications — all powered by ShortStack.
