Rogue Ales & Spirits, a longtime ShortStack customer and one of America’s first microbreweries, needed a way to promote the redesign of its canned cocktails without confusing existing customers at the shelf. The challenge was to raise awareness of the new packaging and expanded product line while also capturing more customer data for future marketing.
Using ShortStack’s Spin the Reels instant win template, Rogue launched the “Mixed Opportunities Sweepstakes,” an interactive campaign that collected entrant details, supported email signup, and highlighted the new can design. The ShortStack campaign drove 22,541 email addresses, 40,884 unique visitors, and 293 shares, with an estimated cost of about $0.03 per email address; Rogue also reported strong engagement, including a 54% open rate on contest newsletters.
