Scratch & Grin worked with ShortStack to run a Scratch & Win giveaway during the COVID-19 shutdown with goals to spread some joy, test ShortStack’s new Scratch & Win feature, showcase its prize codes, collect user-generated content, and gather mailing addresses and qualified leads.

ShortStack built and automated the campaign using its Scratch & Win instant-win setup, prize codes, Liquid-driven autoresponder emails, a Refer-a-Friend mechanic for extra entries, and a hashtag-fed gallery for social content. The campaign generated 2,048 entries in 10 days from 2,517 unique landing‑page views — an 81% conversion rate — produced 101 winners (100 swag winners plus a $100 grand prize), and collected 100 mailing addresses, demonstrating ShortStack’s measurable impact on engagement and lead collection.
