How SunRype Collected 97,000+ Entries and Valuable Customer Data

SunRype, a Canadian juice and snack company focused on healthy lifestyles, needed to drive brand awareness and new customer acquisition while collecting first‑party customer data and user‑generated content (UGC). To meet those goals they partnered with ShortStack and used ShortStack’s contest platform—leveraging the Points for Fields feature and the Earn Extra Points Giveaway template—to incentivize entrants to provide optional data and upload photos.

ShortStack ran the “Fuel Your Family Fitness” giveaway with extra-entry incentives for completing optional fields and posting Instagram photos tagged #SUNRYPEFUELFAMILYFITNESS; the campaign generated 97,131 form entries, 14,640 extra entries (resulting in 1,464 images), 70,735 unique views (196,077 total views), 3,901 shares, 97,131 autoresponder emails sent with 25,246 opens, and doubled visits to SunRype’s social profiles—delivering valuable emails, UGC and measurable increases in awareness and acquisition for SunRype.
