Camp Chef, a maker of camping stoves, Dutch ovens and outdoor cooking gear, wanted to grow its email list and boost engagement during the holidays. To run a high-frequency, low-budget seasonal promotion that encouraged repeat visits and social sharing, Camp Chef used ShortStack’s platform—specifically ShortStack’s Holiday Calendar Template—to run a daily-entry giveaway across web and Facebook.
ShortStack’s solution (web- and Facebook-published Holiday Calendar campaign with daily-entry limits and a refer-a-friend option) drove major results: 13,780 entries in 12 days (107% more than Camp Chef’s usual promotions), 65,995 total views (2,129 average per day), 886 new fans, 5,408 campaign shares and 166,585 lifetime organic impressions, plus strong Facebook engagement (2,456 likes, 751 comments, 491 shares).
