A ShortStack Case Study
SeaComm Federal Credit Union, a regional credit union serving over 51,000 members across six New York and three Vermont counties, wanted to boost fan engagement, brand awareness, and grow its Facebook community during its annual St. Patrick’s Day campaign featuring mascot Plunky O’Swoosh. To modernize their customary contest approach, they partnered with ShortStack and used ShortStack’s Puzzle template to create an interactive jigsaw contest.
Using ShortStack’s Puzzle template and refer-a-friend feature, SeaComm ran an 11-day Pic-to-Plunky campaign with daily puzzles that unlocked an entry form when completed. The campaign drove 15,660 total entries, including 5,924 form submissions and about 4,860 referral form entries (roughly 82% of submissions) generated via ShortStack’s referral tool, and resulted in 82 new Facebook page likes—demonstrating ShortStack’s effectiveness in simplifying setup and significantly growing leads and engagement.
