BetterUp, a mobile-first coaching platform serving employees and leaders at Fortune 1000 companies, faced difficulty managing and paying hundreds of international professional coaches. Relying on an unwieldy, hard-to-maintain spreadsheet made it hard to track coaches’ skills, languages and certifications for accurate matching, and manual payroll processing for globally distributed coaches took about three days.
