Islamic Finance Guru raises US$4.1M with Shoreditch Design Studio

Islamic Finance Guru (IFG), a startup hub for Muslim investment and personal finance advice, contacted Shoreditch Design Studio to help improve their digital product and secure essential funding. Their challenge was to make wealth and personal finance tools accessible to the Muslim community and to effectively deal with problems like discrimination and underrepresentation in the financial sector.

Shoreditch Design Studio expanded from creating a pitch deck to developing MVPs for IFG's investment and Wills apps. The solution included creating clean, simple UX flows for both beginner and expert users and establishing a design system for future development. As a result, IFG successfully raised $4.1 million in funding using the materials provided by Shoreditch Design Studio and subsequently launched both of their apps to the public.
