Trellis Home is an online home decor shop that aims to make design fun, affordable and approachable—like shopping with a friend. The company targets people who know their style but don’t want to hire an interior designer, filling the gap for customers inspired by social media who still need a curated eye and customizable pieces but don’t always know where to find them.
To solve this, Trellis sources unique items from markets, vendors and vintage dealers nationwide, curates photographed “looks” to show how pieces mix, and offers customization. They use Shopify analytics to refine assortment and messaging, drive traffic and sales through Instagram and email, and handle fulfillment in-house; early sales came from friends and social channels, and Instagram remains a primary revenue driver while reporting lets them continually optimize product selection.
