Honeybunch Shop, founded by Lisa Jolly, was looking to grow beyond its retail roots and launch an international online brand. Using Shopify and Shopify’s Build A Business Competition, the soap and bath products business created a dedicated ecommerce store and started reaching customers outside New Zealand.

Shopify helped Honeybunch Shop turn its story-driven marketing into sales momentum, with Lisa promoting the store heavily through social media and campaigns like “We’ve Got Balls.” The results included international interest, a successful expansion into Hong Kong and China, and a bath bomb campaign that sold nearly two thirds of a 75,000-unit goal in less than a month and a half.
