The Lifted Brow is a Melbourne-based literary magazine that has been self-publishing since 2007. After years of selling back issues with custom PayPal buttons, the team moved to Shopify to create a polished online store and better showcase their magazine to readers and event attendees.

Using Shopify’s Facebook store, cart-abandonment apps and POS app for launch events, they centralized sales and made fulfillment straightforward enough for volunteer interns to handle. The biggest driver of sales has been direct links from editorial articles to the Shopify store, resulting in higher visibility, smoother transactions and easier event sales.
