Station 16 Gallery is a Montreal-based art and photography gallery that grew out of a silkscreen print shop and opened in 2013, specializing in street art and graffiti. Their challenge was turning a local print studio into a sustainable gallery and online business: building a recognizable brand, reaching collectors, and selling both limited-edition silkscreen prints made in-house and original works sourced directly from artists’ studios.

They tackled this by cultivating artist and customer relationships, exhibiting at local and international art fairs, and leveraging social media—especially Instagram—plus Mailchimp newsletters to drive sales. Producing prints in-house and handling fulfillment internally (shipping via FedEx) has supported consistent service; today they enjoy strong social engagement and most sales come from returning clients and direct relationships.
