Rebel Coast Winery - Customer Case Study

Rebel Coast Winery started when two brothers in California turned backyard bootleg batches into a legitimate label, but they faced a clear challenge: how to scale sales, build credibility and handle online orders and fulfillment after growing demand. They needed to move from selling door‑to‑door to a real business infrastructure without losing the brand’s scrappy spirit.

To solve this they built an in‑house sales team, launched a Shopify store and integrated apps like Shopify Product Reviews, Chimpified, Flits, Spently and Imajize, while outsourcing e‑commerce fulfillment to Napa Pack n Ship. Today the team has grown to 16 reps selling ~95% of volume, with about 6% of sales online — the website provides legitimacy, supports growth and helped build a devoted following.
