Hammitt is a California-based luxury handbag brand led by Tony Drockton that purposely avoids discounting to protect its premium positioning. As wholesale and retail channels grew, Hammitt needed to scale ecommerce without diluting the brand and aimed for a healthy retail/ecom balance, so it enlisted Shopify Plus partner Chief Digital Advisors (CDA) to optimize its online strategy.

CDA rebuilt Hammitt’s Shopify Plus experience and executed a full‑funnel plan—PR, curated social content, targeted ads, segmented email automation, on‑site personalization, exclusive web products and Nosto-driven upsells—to improve UX and conversion. The changes drove a 177% lift in site traffic, a 16% increase in average order value and a 233% year‑over‑year revenue gain while preserving the brand’s premium pricing and long-term strategy.
