Namaste Collective - Customer Case Study

Namaste Collective, based on the Gold Coast, started after a trip to India where the founders noticed a gap: first-time henna users lacked a safe, attractive, easy-to-use option and the market was flooded with chemically altered products. The challenge was to create a natural, beginner-friendly henna kit while sourcing multiple components worldwide and keeping production ethical and locally controlled.

They solved this by assembling kits from nine global suppliers and partnering with a local charity that employs disabled and disadvantaged people for manufacturing. Pre-launch Instagram growth (5,000+ followers) and ongoing social/PR outreach drove early and continuing sales, while Google Analytics and cloud accounting streamlined operations. In-house shipping with label printers/apps preserved packaging control and customer loyalty; the business now sees Instagram as its primary sales channel, enjoys regular media-driven surges, and has a sustainable social impact model as it scales.
