Minter & Richter Designs is a Boston-based studio run by Scott and Minter Richter that handcrafts custom titanium wedding bands. After getting started on Etsy, they faced the challenge of gaining more control over how their unique, highly customizable rings were presented and sold while still managing complex, made-to-order requests.

They moved to Shopify to control content and design and to handle bespoke orders, using the Custom Orders App (their most indispensable tool) and the Product Options App to manage variations across single rings, sets and accessories. With those tools in place they can efficiently create and fulfill custom orders, and they now drive most of their site traffic from Google, Pinterest, Facebook and wedding blogs.
