Men Fashion is a Philadelphia-based online retailer founded after its owner moved to the U.S. in 2010 and partnered with a favorite Parisian designer to bring premium shirts stateside, launching the site with an initial 500-piece inventory. The main challenge was building traction and customer acquisition from scratch—early months were slow and the business needed reliable ways to manage inventory, vendors and fulfillment while proving demand.

The team focused on paid search and SEO (their first sale came via Google AdWords about 15 days after launch), and built a backend ecosystem of roughly 20 apps—including Zopim for live chat, Stock Sync for inventory and Credible for social proof—while handling vendor shipping labels and returns centrally. Those efforts paid off: repeat customers now account for more than 50% of sales, email campaigns drive loyalty, and the store has established a strong niche position.
