Lotus Belle US, a San Francisco–based brand, designs sustainably made, semi-permanent canvas tents inspired by a 10-year-old sketch. The founders saw a gap for a beautifully crafted, ethically produced tent that could be left up long-term and focused on finding a manufacturer that shared their values and quality standards.

They brought the product to market by partnering with that manufacturer and launching with striking photography on Facebook in 2012, which spurred viral sharing and built a large following; today traffic and sales come from Facebook, mobile search, and PR referrals like BuzzFeed. Operationally they use Mailchimp and a Shopify‑integrated warehouse/fulfillment partner, resulting in strong online visibility, steady sales growth, and a loyal community.
