Kammok is an Austin-based outdoor gear and apparel company with a mission-driven focus—its signature hammock began as a design for alternative bedding to help people in malaria‑affected regions. Faced with the challenge of launching new products, generating first sales and scaling both direct-to-consumer and retail channels while maintaining social impact, Kammok needed a way to validate demand and build a reliable online storefront.

Kammok turned to Kickstarter to earn its first sales, successfully crowdfunding its first three major products (one campaign ranked among the platform’s top 10 at the time), and built a high-performing Shopify store to scale sales and retail distribution. Using apps like Chimpified, YOTPO, SumAll, Bold Apps and Robin for customer service, the team tracks sales daily, fulfills orders through retail and their web store, and continues to deliver strong online performance alongside measurable social impact through partnerships and donations.
