Jamie Koala Art & Design, founded by Jamie Koala in 2009, grew out of her work as an illustrator for band merchandise into a full-time line of original art, apparel, handmade jewelry and patented accessories (including Plug Earring Converters, US 9,003,830 B2, and Waist Capes). What began as concert booth sales and freelance design became a home-based business after a medical withdrawal from college, creating the challenge of scaling beyond in-person sales, managing fulfillment alone, and building visibility while running the company solo.

Jamie moved sales online, leveraging social media (Facebook and Instagram) to drive traffic and using Stamps.com to simplify shipping and fulfillment so she can handle orders herself. Made in the USA and sold worldwide, her unique patented products and strong branding have turned the venture into her full-time career and grown her customer base beyond the concert scene.
