PittaRosso, the Italian footwear retailer with more than 150 stores across Europe, needed a more scalable and omnichannel ecommerce platform. Its previous Adobe Commerce setup made it hard for the team to work autonomously, slowed down simple tasks, and hurt search visibility due to poor site speed. The company also wanted more customization and creative control, and turned to Shopify Plus for support.
Shopify, implemented through partner Byte-Code with SEO guidance from Boraso, delivered a headless architecture with a custom storefront and CMS that improved loading speed and marketing performance. The results were strong: 27% higher 2022 BFCM revenue vs. 2021, an 11% year-over-year increase in ecommerce conversion rate, and 37% year-over-year growth in online net profit. PittaRosso also doubled its 2022 ROAS benchmark and achieved its highest-ever ecommerce sales in January 2023, while saving hundreds of man-hours through new Shopify app integrations.
