World of Books, the online used bookstore and sustainability-focused B Corporation, needed a more scalable way to manage its rapidly growing UK and US operations after international expansion and an acquisition more than tripled sales overnight. The company also wanted to maintain a strong customer experience while handling complex multi-market pricing, inventory, and legal entity requirements, and turned to Shopify, including Shopify Payments, to support that growth.

Shopify implemented multi-entity management and Shopify Payments to streamline cross-border operations, simplify currency and entity handling, and improve the checkout experience with Shop Pay. World of Books reported a 10% increase in conversion rates overall, an 18% lift during BFCM, seven sales records around BFCM, and significant savings by avoiding extra headcount, legal costs, months of work, and foreign exchange risk.
