Steve Madden, the global footwear and fashion brand, had grown to 30 commerce sites across three brands, but its digital presence had become fragmented by decentralized teams, inconsistent governance, and more than 260 apps on Shopify. This made it difficult to maintain a consistent brand experience while still supporting local market needs.

Shopify partner RunDTC rebuilt Steve Madden’s global commerce architecture with a custom Liquid theme and a Contentstack-to-Shopify integration called Unify, giving the company centralized control with local content flexibility. Using Shopify, Steve Madden launched 30 global sites, improved brand consistency, and increased conversion rates by 16%, while enabling faster content updates and campaign launches across regions.
