Raw Generation, a raw juice company based in Middletown, New Jersey, struggled at first to gain traction with its original niche product and social media marketing. The company, founded by Jessica Geier, was looking for a better way to sell online and grow revenues using Shopify.

With Shopify, Raw Generation rebranded around the popular juice-cleanse trend and focused its efforts on deal sites such as Lifebooker, Groupon, Gilt, and Rue La La. This shift helped the business dramatically increase sales, with revenues rising from $8,000 in May 2013 to $96,000 in July 2013. Raw Generation also credited Shopify’s ease of use and app store for helping improve its website and online operations.
