NZXT, a longtime leader in the PC gaming community, was struggling with a complex, custom-built PC configurator on a headless ecommerce setup. The system created operational bottlenecks, high maintenance costs, and a confusing “paradox of choice” for customers, while converting at half the rate of NZXT’s standard pre-built systems.
NZXT worked with Shopify to simplify its ecommerce experience by retiring the custom configurator, moving to Shopify Liquid, and offering a curated selection of gaming PCs. With Shopify, NZXT says it unlocked more than $3 million in savings, cut fulfillment times from up to 10 days to under two, and improved conversion rates through a cleaner customer journey and Shopify Checkout.
