A Shopify Case Study
Groupe Marcelle’s, Canada’s largest cosmetics manufacturer, had been managing its brands across fragmented Magento sites, which created inconsistent customer experiences, higher maintenance costs, slow mobile performance, and inventory and fulfillment issues. The company needed a unified commerce platform that could support its main transactional brands, Marcelle and Lise Watier, while preparing for future expansion.
Shopify, implemented by Molsoft, unified four storefronts into a single multi-brand architecture with a shared theme library, a custom ERP connector, integrated shipping and marketing tools, and a mobile-first UX overhaul. The result was 32% sales growth, a 26% increase in order volume, and a 6% improvement in conversion rate for Marcelle and Lise Watier, while also reducing operational complexity and improving inventory accuracy and delivery reliability.
