Braun Büffel, the long-established leather goods brand, wanted to grow its direct-to-consumer business after launching its online store during the Covid-19 lockdown. Its original Magento setup was hard to manage, lacked user-friendliness, and required heavy agency support, while the company also needed a scalable system that could support its new D2C strategy. Shopify was chosen to help Braun Büffel take control of its e-commerce operations.

With Shopify, Braun Büffel relaunched its store in about six months, improved usability, and integrated key tools more easily without relying on developers. The results were strong: conversion rate rose by nearly 50%, average cart value increased by more than 28% from about €72 to over €100, and page load times dropped by 66%.
