Hobbe is a Sydney-based brand created to fill a gap in the Australian market for luxury nursing chairs after the founder couldn’t find a chair she liked. They sourced production offshore with a manufacturer in Indonesia and added a second in Malaysia to keep up with growing demand.

To launch, Hobbe pre-sold their entire first shipment on Instagram using simple sketches, and now drives most traffic and sales through its website and physical/online stockists. Operations are scaled by outsourcing warehousing, fulfillment and shipping to a 3PL with a dedicated logistics manager, while the team refines their store using Shopify-recommended apps and tools.
