GirlyGoGarter - Customer Case Study

GirlyGoGarter, founded by Andy Paige in Virginia, launched the GirlyGoGarter® in June 2013 — a hands-free thigh purse evolved from a TV mic-pack prototype after five years of R&D. The main challenge was turning a niche, retail-ready accessory into a product that retailers and consumers would adopt quickly and reliably.

To solve this, the company focused on trade shows starting in August 2013 and equipped retailers with a polished marketing kit (countertop displays, commercial DVD, photos, store locator). They run sales on Shopify (including POS at shows), handle fulfillment in-house, and have partnered with reps across North America. The approach paid off: they regularly outsell many new products, were voted #1 new product at MAGIC, and trade shows remain their top source of traffic and sales.
