Funwheels of Sweden, based in Malmö, design colorful, locally made accessories for wheelchairs after the founders’ daughter—born with a muscular disease—revealed how dull standard mobility equipment can be. The company shifted from a basic consumer webshop into B2B sales for several years, then faced the challenge of re-entering the consumer market with multilingual/multi‑currency needs and made‑to‑order products that customers can personalize.

To meet that challenge they moved to Shopify using the Parallax theme and Langify for multi‑market support, keep production local and fulfill orders themselves via the Swedish postal service, and drive traffic through Facebook, Instagram, Twitter and Pinterest. The platform change has helped them regain consumer interest and visibility while they continue to explore an online product configurator to improve the customer experience.
