Firebelly Tea Doubles Return on Ad Spend with Shop Campaigns

Firebelly Tea, a D2C tea brand launched in 2021, needed a more profitable way to scale customer acquisition after finding other marketing platforms costly, high-maintenance, and difficult to make work. The company turned to Shopify’s Shop Campaigns, attracted by the pay-per-purchase model that only charges when a new customer buys.

Shopify set up a fast, low-maintenance acquisition solution using Shop Campaigns that repurposed existing store assets and required minimal daily management. The results were strong: Firebelly Tea doubled its ROAS, cut CAC by more than 50%, and found that customers acquired through Shopify were 2X more likely to return and repurchase than those from other channels.
