ENJOY meditation is a Cazadero, CA–based nonprofit that develops meditation products and programs, including handcrafted meditation cushions made in-house by volunteers and a forthcoming book printed on their own press. They choose to sell only items that meaningfully improve customers’ lives, and face the challenge of limited marketing spend and finding the right storytelling angle to reach different audiences while staying true to their mission.

To grow within those constraints they rely on Shopify plus tools like Fetch for digital fulfillment, Mailchimp for email, and Shippo for shipping, while keeping production and fulfillment in-house to ensure quality. Word of mouth, events and retreats, and email campaigns drive the most traffic and repeat sales; these channels—along with high-profile initiatives (including what they call the largest donation of books in human history)—have delivered consistent return traffic and sustainable growth.
