En Gold, the modern Australian furniture brand founded by Steffanie and Matt Ball, needed a better way to support both its DTC business and an emerging wholesale/trade channel. It also struggled to customize shipping costs by order size, which meant flat delivery fees were sometimes too low and hurt profitability. Shopify Plus provided the ecommerce foundation for the brand’s expansion.

Using Shopify Plus, En Gold implemented checkout extensibility to customize shipping charges and capture more customer data, and added Shopify Plus B2B to create a blended store for both DTC and B2B buyers. With Shopify, the brand resolved undercharging on larger orders, improved checkout personalization, launched tailored catalogs and pricing for B2B customers, and introduced tiered discounts for bigger buyers. The result was a more efficient operation and a stronger platform for growing B2B sales.
