DSPTCH Goes All-In on Clienteling with Shopify POS Go

DSPTCH, an accessory brand that expanded from ecommerce into retail, wanted to turn its San Francisco store into a true clienteling experience. With its traditional checkout setup, staff were tied to a counter and couldn’t easily move with customers, access purchase history, or check inventory on the sales floor. DSPTCH turned to Shopify POS Go to support a more flexible, personalized in-store experience.

Shopify implemented POS Go, an all-in-one mobile POS device that combines checkout, card payment, and barcode scanning in one handheld terminal. The result was a faster, more efficient mobile checkout process, easier access to customer and inventory data, and less dependence on disconnected peripherals. DSPTCH also reported stronger productivity—Richard Liu said one capable employee with POS Go could do the work of two using a stationary setup—while enabling ship-to-customer fulfillment and better overall customer service.
