Doodles, the NFT-based brand behind DoodlePutt at Art Basel Miami Beach, needed a flexible way to support both tokengated access for NFT holders and fast check-in and ticket sales for walk-ins, while also running a smooth merch store. The challenge was to manage these two in-person experiences with one POS system and keep lines moving for about 2,000 expected attendees.
Shopify provided the solution with Shopify POS, POS Go, Tap to Pay on iPhone, and the Experiences check-in app, all managed from the same back office. The result was Doodles’ smoothest registration and check-in process to date, efficient tee time sales for non-holders, and a merch operation that could transact all day without extra hardware; Shopify helped Doodles exceed expectations and run its mini golf activation and store seamlessly.
