Confidence Beads - Customer Case Study

Confidence Beads was founded by Linda Waters out of her Back to Business practice to help women overcome fear and build confidence. Noting that lack of confidence kept many clients from succeeding, she created handmade beads—each with a “story”—to inspire and connect women, and committed donations from every sale to ovarian cancer and domestic violence charities.

To scale the idea, Waters launched Beads for a Cause and moved Confidence Beads to Shopify, using tools like Chimpify/MailChimp, Facebook Store, SEO plugins and SumAll to streamline marketing, sales and reporting. Early sales came via social media and nonprofit partners, and the move to Shopify gave the brand better support, apps and analytics to simplify operations, boost visibility and continue driving sales and donations.
