Boody, the sustainable apparel brand based in Sydney, Australia, wanted to scale from a wholesale business into ecommerce but was held back by a platform that required developer support for changes and made merchandising and managing mobile and desktop experiences difficult. As it looked to expand internationally, Boody needed a simpler, more flexible solution from Shopify to deliver a consistent customer experience without a large technology team.
Boody switched to Shopify in 2015 and Shopify Plus in 2017, using Shopify Flow, Shopify Payments, and integrations with Odoo, Gorgias, and Klaviyo to automate operations and create a single view of the customer. With Shopify, Boody launched 10 international stores and grew online revenue from 0% to 70% of total revenue, while achieving a 5% online conversion rate and top-tier cart-addition performance.
