Boie, founded in 2015 to create durable, recyclable personal care products, began on Shopify but quickly outgrew the platform as traffic and media attention grew. Seeking more website flexibility and better conversion and SEO performance, the company upgraded to Shopify Plus and engaged the Merchant Growth Model for tailored growth guidance.
Using MGM recommendations Boie tightened its branding and product pages, added customer reviews, improved SEO and content, and moved to Klaviyo for branded abandoned‑cart emails with incentives. The changes helped double sales (projected from $1.1M to $2M), lift overall conversion from ~3% to 6% (well above the 2.53% industry average), and increase abandoned‑cart conversions from 4% to 6%.
