Bikini Luxe, a Miami Beach-based online retailer born from the founder’s lifelong passion for swimwear, set out to sell limited-edition, designer bikinis from local Miami designers. The main challenge was that many sought-after designers had little or no online presence or required large inventory commitments, so the founder had to persuade and partner with a few early believers (notably Peixoto and Montce) to build the assortment and credibility.

Bikini Luxe launched through social channels—leveraging an existing Instagram following—and focused heavily on SEO and Pinterest to drive traffic. Operationally they use Shippo for discounted shipping, Foursixty for shoppable Instagram integration, and cart-retention apps to recover abandonments, shipping from a Miami warehouse. Today the store ranks high for luxury swimwear keywords, generates the majority of sales from SEO, achieves over 1 million monthly impressions on social, and is one of the world’s largest online bikini retailers.
