BikeBeatz is a Chicago startup founded by friends Jimmy and Chris after they noticed cyclists using unsafe or impractical ways to play music—headphones, duct‑taped boomboxes, and cumbersome trailers. After several prototypes they launched a compact, powerful, and reliable bike speaker designed specifically for group rides and everyday cyclists.

They sell through a Shopify store and rely on word‑of‑mouth plus Facebook and Google ads for traffic—the first customers were a coworker and a pedicab driver who saw the product in person. Operations are lean: Google for email, manual packing, and USPS drop‑off; affordable Facebook advertising and daily social activity have become the main drivers of sales.
