BattlBox, an outdoor adventure subscription box company, needed a more flexible ecommerce platform to support rapid growth, simplify operations, and reduce the time spent onboarding staff. Its earlier platform, CreateJoy, couldn’t keep up with scaling needs or allow easy feature integrations without heavy custom development.

BattlBox moved to Shopify, using tools like Recharge for subscription management and Managed Markets for international selling. With Shopify, the company expanded sales to more than 140 countries, cut onboarding time from eight weeks to about three, and achieved a 120% increase in conversions, a 95% year-over-year increase in GMV, and a 161% increase in site sessions.
