Babylist Provides Reliable Payment Processing at their Flagship Store with Shopify POS

Babylist, an online baby registry brand founded in 2011, opened its first permanent flagship store in Beverly Hills and needed a POS system that could integrate with its existing ecommerce operations, support buy-in-store-ship-to-home and gift returns, and provide reliable payment processing. Having already used Shopify for its online store, Babylist chose Shopify POS to avoid fragmented systems and launch with minimal customization and risk.

Shopify implemented Shopify POS with synced customer, order, and inventory data across online and in-store channels, plus a direct integration with Stocky for inventory management. This helped Babylist launch on schedule, centralize reporting and back-office operations, and create a smoother customer experience; staff also found it easy to train on the system. Babylist reported faster payment processing, a unified view of inventory and customers, and a stronger foundation for future retail expansion with Shopify.
