AyeGear, founded in Glasgow in 2011, makes travel garments and accessories aimed at tech‑savvy travellers who need CAMS — connectivity, accessibility, mobility, and security. Faced with a crowded market of mobile accessories and the need to present a professional storefront without overspending, the company set out to create distinctive products that solve practical travel needs and stand out online.

AyeGear focused on a unique product design and heavy social media use, producing in‑house videos and embedding YouTube content directly on product pages to keep shoppers engaged. They started with one product and color in 2012 and, after redesigning their site (including a dedicated mobile site) in 2013 with a development team, expanded to four products in 15+ colors — achieving stronger customer engagement, a more professional brand presence, and measurable ROI from social channels.
