Allbirds Reduces Costs and Boosts Conversions with Ship from Store on Shopify POS

Allbirds, the New Zealand-born footwear brand, launched on Shopify in 2016 and later added Shopify POS as it expanded into physical retail. As the company scaled, it struggled to manage inventory across stores and online, with retail stock not available to ecommerce customers and slow-moving products tying up store space.

To solve this, Allbirds implemented Ship from Store on Shopify POS with Shopify, using a phased rollout and custom workflows to connect sales and inventory data across channels. The result was a wider assortment available online and in stores, higher website conversion rates, and lower shipping and labor costs, including less product sent back to the warehouse after each season.
