8and9 - Customer Case Study

8and9 is a Miami-based apparel brand born from a sneaker collector’s insight: create premium graphic tees that match monthly Nike/Jordan colorways. The company began selling at Sneaker Con and through word-of-mouth and social media, but quickly faced the challenges of sourcing, production scale-up and limited fulfillment space as inventory grew from an apartment operation to a retail store and warehouse.

They addressed this by running limited-design drops tied to sneaker releases, sourcing roughly 75% locally in Miami while shifting more production to Mexico under NAFTA for better control and cost. Marketing and sales rely on social channels (Instagram, Twitter) and direct traffic, and operations run on ShipStation and BoldApps to manage channels and promotions; bringing fulfillment back in-house has improved speed, service and efficiency while supporting continued local production growth.
