SaunaSpace, a manufacturer of home sauna solutions, needed a way to efficiently design, prototype, and produce its products in-house to keep operations lean and avoid future debt. The PRSalpha from ShopBot enabled SaunaSpace to bring all prototyping and a significant portion of its production in-house. This solution made their manufacturing process incredibly lean and efficient, with the machine running all day for production, prototyping, and experimentation. The precision and tool-changing capabilities of the PRSalpha saved time and resources. The results were so positive that SaunaSpace plans to purchase a second ShopBot to double production output and allow for further experimentation.
