Case Study: Peak Design achieves fast, scalable global fulfillment and international retail growth with Shipwire

A Shipwire Case Study

Preview of the Peak Design Case Study

Product design company relies on Shipwire, grows retail and ecommerce channels internationally

Peak Design, a product design company known for innovative camera gear and technical bags, outgrew its original in‑house fulfillment from a California office as it expanded into international ecommerce and retail channels (including REI and Backcountry). By 2013 the company needed a scalable solution to serve global customers quickly, control shipping and fulfillment costs, and support coordinated product launches and holiday surges without adding headcount or leasing new warehouses.

Shipwire (a CEVA Logistics company) provided that solution with an ecommerce order management platform, a dedicated account manager, and a global fulfillment network of six strategically located warehouses (California, Shenzhen, Netherlands, Canada, UK, Australia). The result: faster, lower‑cost delivery worldwide, smooth product launches and peak‑season scalability, and continued growth into retail and ecommerce channels while Peak Design retained operational focus and avoided expanding internal logistics staff.
