DailyLook is a women’s fashion startup that pivoted to a Try Before You Buy subscription box model—sending curated outfits for customers to try at home and return what they don’t want. The shift created operational challenges around scalable picking/packing, prepaid returns, fraud prevention, and preserving a high‑end unboxing experience; an external 3PL couldn’t meet those needs.
DailyLook brought fulfillment in‑house and integrated ShipStation via API to print shipment and prepaid return labels, connect warehouse scales, and automate carrier/service selection by zone. The solution streamlined picking, packing and returns, improved shipping costs and controls, and supported the business model’s expectation of high return rates while protecting against fraud and preserving the customer experience.
